"As you are supposed to" means they told you to do the PT and are you doing it. It sounds like you are doing everything and doing it quite well, I may add. When I had my foot surgery all the doctor told me was to be careful and stay off of it as much as possible. Living alone, the "stay off of it" portion of his advice was not easy. I'm glad your recovery is going well!

Glad to hear you're doing better - at least you are doing what they are telling you to do! Men don't like being told what to do!

Sounds like you're improving every day! Keep up the good work! I'm submitting your name for next season's Dancing With The Stars

Sandy

Ah! Physical Therapy! Ouch!

Well, this past Wednesday I went for my 2 week follow-up to get the staples removed, x-rays, and my general questions for the doctor. As I was walking in he was standing at a central station and looked up. He stated that I was doing really good for someone at my stage. We had our little meeting, and then he went to write a prescriptioin for a cane. I stood up and walked to the door of the exam room and said, "Can I drive?" He told me to raise my right foot into the air and I put it up past my hip. He said, "You can drive." Friday I drove myself to physical therapy. That give Earlene a break as she does not have to chauffeur me around anymore.

I really need to work on the flex of the knee. The doctor wants it at 120 degrees and right now I'm still not quite at 90 degrees. It is the one thing that I am having problems with. Now remember, my "other" knee is in bad shape also.

We are really anticipating on being able to make the Halloween bash, and the Bellville get-to-gather. We are going to make the trip up a two day travel so I can have some relief.

Hope to see you there.

Wayne you need to find Mike and limber up that knee by drop kicking him for that comment.
