Bluebonnets are the prettiest field of flowers.

We had a wonderful field of bluebonnets and they've now gone to seed. I've sacked up several bags of seed pods to plant on our new property. Hopefully we'll not have a drought this year and the seeds will germinate nicely.

Fantastic view. Thanks for sharing.

Being "artificial Texans" we took a big bag of seeds with us to Denmark, in the hope that we could get the Bluebonnets to flower in the field in from of our house. Anne went out a couple of days ago, just before it rained, and scattered them in the grassed area.

Now we just have to wait and see. It is still freezing cold here but with a promise that we should see slightly warmer temperatures over the weekend.

We have now been back for 2½ weeks and we already miss being on the road. Must be some gypsy blood in us somewhere .

Oh...........you'll have to keep us posted if they bloom! What an amazing thing that would be to have a little piece of Texas growing right there in Denmark!

Ya'll are missed much! Can't wait until your next trip over and hoping that you'll be able to come see us at a rally!

FYI...we saw bluebonnets growing profusely in Yellowstone National Park a couple of years ago. So I guess if they'll grow in Texas' heat and drought and survive the long cold Yellowstone winters they should do fine in the Scandinavian part of the world. If not, y'all jest need to get back on here where yer heart is-Texas!
