Can't remember the last time we only had ten rigs for a Boomers rally but by golly the rig count didn't make any difference in the fun, food and fellowship we all had at George's wonderful Texan RV Park in Athens.

We toured the Athens Arboretum, visited the Texas Fisherman's Center, played Flamingo Bingo, had campfars every evening, welcomed new members Bill & Linda Mather from Lorena, fed the fish in the lake from the deck and gazebo, and enjoyed the antics of the the ducks just to name some of the fun.

Most importantly we had a moving and a spiritually uplifting Easter Sunrise Service in the gazebo over the lake. We owe a very special debt of gratitude to Rev Duke Thompson, one of our newest boomer members, who drove to Athens and stayed in a motel in order to provide the service Sunday morning. It was well attended by the group and very inspirational.

Duke, once again, our sincere thanks.

It was one of the best!

Thanks also Don and Pat!

Loved the Easter service.
