Just in case you need to know, we drove by the campground yesterday and it is on the right hand side of the highway and water is still flowing over the Millers Creek dam.

Jim is that the right side going north or south? Or did you mean "right" side as in correct side?

Ken

Yep! Its on the right side if you are going down the road but its on the left side if your coming up the road. Oh...watch for the water pouring over the dam on your right and right after that you should turn right, right into the campground. You may be going in the exit but that's all right.

For these directions to be totally accurate though, you will have to program your GPS for up to be north.

See, now everybody understands and most will be there early since they don't have to run up and down the highway looking for this place.

More info-the nice lady that checked us all in last year isn't going to be there this year. I think she got a better offer. Rumor has it she is staying in California waiting for the stimulus money to kick in. We may never see her again.

If y'all need more directions let me know, I'll point you to the Bing.com mapsite.

Barbara,
Mary and Richard Palmer will bring Corn and Bean salad for Friday night, Bacon for Saturday breakfast, Key Lime Pie for Saturday nite supper, and both of us will buy Haystack Salads for lunch on Sunday.
Let us know if you need us to pick up anything at Sam's Club. (preferably something non- perishable)

Hi Penny,

I would say either a meat dish or a veggie for Saturday night. Thanks!

Rib eye steak, medium rare please. Sauteed mushrooms, grilled asparagus. I'll bring the cracked pepper and my own platter.

Jim, thank you for volunteering the steaks. I like mine just a shade rarer than medium rare. We'll also take some of the grilled asparagus. If you want, I'll help you cook them. What are you going to do if someone wants prime rib?

Ken

Wait...Penny asked what to bring and I was just responding to her inquiry as to what she should bring for me. All I'm bringing is an appetite.

Saturday Breakfast: Milk & orange juice
Saturday Night: Vegetable or some kind of pasta salad - haven't decided yet
Sunday Lunch: $8.00 for 2 - can hardly wait for that salad

OK, Barbara, I have checked with Patsy, and here is our information:

Friday night...Potatoe/cheese/bacon veggie dish
Saturday Breakfast....Fruit Salad
Saturday Supper.....Sausage

Right now, since we are headed to Michigan immediately after this rally, we may be leaving Sunday morning, so don't put us down for the haystacks. If we are still there, we will eat in our rig.

Regards,
Richard and Patsy King

I think I have everyone on the list. Thank you for sending in your meal selections. I am ready to see everyone ...... if I can just remember which way Jim said to turn to get to the campground.
