I thought I had ALSO posted it this thread. When you are feeling a bit under the weather the old (and fewer) brain cells get a bit foggy.

I figured something was going on because you usually do post in both places!
Something really weird has been going on in "cyberspace" the last couple of days
1) the meal thread was "lost" for all intent and purposes here on the boards
2) couldn't log in to my texasboomers.net email account from the laptop
3) my personal email account was hacked and SPAM sent out to everyone in my address book.....
the computer gremlins were having a party and I wasn't invited!!!!

Dennis and I are new and buying our first RV hopefully in the next few weeks! Jerry and Cynthia told us about the Boomers and invited us. It sounds like a fun group! Is there a way to join and a fee? Can we participate in anything before we've gotten our MH? Looking forward to joining you!

Sherry and Dennis,
No fees and you are welcome to visit anytime. The Conroe has cabins to rent if would like to come up and stay for the weekend. Glad to see you here.

Sherri and Dennis....
HOPEFULLY you'll have your new rv by then and the rally can be your maiden voyage in it - at least it's closer to home!
We'd love to have you - rv or not! As Ken said, they have cabins there and you'll have to make arrangements w/ the rv park to rent one of those.
if that's not an option and you live close by, you are welcome to come and join in all the activities of the entire weekend!
And, as Ken said....there's no fee to join - just come on! There are meal signups on another "thread" in this forum and if ya'll plan to attend the Saturday Night BBQ, we are charging $12 per person for a full bbq meal...we need to know ahead of time how many to prepare for!
Look forward to meeting you folks - any friend of Jerry and Cynthia is a friend of ours!
Sandy

Sherry and Dennis,
We would like to have you join in one of the rallies. As Ken stated there are no fees to belong, just show up. If you don't have your RV by the April rally, there are cabins to rent at the KOA Lake Conroe, or if you prefer just stop by and visit. If you have any additional questions please feel free to PM me on the site and I'll get back to you. We truly believe you'll enjoy the Texas Boomers after all Life is sweet when the Boomers meet, Mike and Amber Brown

John and Carol Wardlaw will be there. We plan to arrive Thursday and leave Sunday. Barbara already has our food sing up.
