The Country Place Rally

Thanks to Mike and Amber for another great rally. I was sorry to hear however that Amber was sweeping the rally hall at 3 this morning. I guess there is an unwritten wagon master rule that says you can't delegate or ask for help. Judy and I appreciate all you two do for the SE Texas Boomers.

Amber, all you have to do is say something at the last meal and we'll get the ssweeping done. I ams sure that Jim would have sent Judy over help. I'd send Susan and David would volunteer Charlotte......More like they would send the men folks....

We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the new folks.

You forgot to mention Doug and Roberta (the new owners of the Silver Twinkie) same by for a visit as well.

On the way home we came with in less than 6" of restyling the side of a dumbos little Toyota in Tomball. The idiot was in the left turn lane and decides she was was not turning left..She pulls right at about a 45 degree angle and then stops in the middle of a green light.

I am thankful that I have ...
Enough tow vehicle
good trailer brakes
and a dang good MaxBrake brake controller.

It hauled us down to a stop with the trailer perfectly straight and no fuss...Just need to get the front seats cleaned out. Luckily I slow down in traffic like that and anticipate idiot behavior at all times.

Ken

Oh, guys I just had troble sleeping and my sister gets up about 4:30 every am for work (with the time change it's 3:30 our time) so we decided instead of waking up everyone in our camper we would go over to the hall. While there we got bored with each other and had a broom game to see who could get the largest pile of dust and stack the chairs best. No need for anyone to feel I overdid, it was time I didn't have to compete for conversation time with anyone else in the family. Alls well.

A great, big THANK YOU to all the Boomers for making Tresa and I feel like old friends. We're proud to be the new kids on the block and will display our prized "pink chicken" with pride where ever we camp. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
