While Texas has been setting records for 100 degree heat days I learned today the Seattle has had the longest streak of days under 85 degrees in 54 years.

We're sssooooooooooooooooooo glad to be in Seattle this summer or as the guy in the Walmart checkout line put it "one of the mildest winters we have ever enjoyed this summer"

Ya just HAD to make that announcement, huh!!!! We are suffering down here and no end in site! Just wait until you cross over the Texas border........you'd better have some cooler air packed in those suitcases to sustain you!!

You'd think going north would be cooler. We're in a small country valley 70 miles NE of Dallas. Hit 122 last Wed, most days were 112-116 with 25-35%.
Was in St. Paul MN, 3 weeks ago and it was 95-95%. I'd rather be home.

Hey Don, We are in Silverton, Co and the nights have been running in the upper 30's, boy, I really hate to crank up that heater to warm the place up in the morning but you know, you just have to do what you have to do. I almost forgot, I had to wear my flannel shirt today because I got too cold.

Hi Tom aint that outdoor AC great and it doesn't cost a dime to operate either.

We headed for Texas Thursday morning and are in Buffalo, WY right now.

I am thinkin about running the heater in the truck the rest of the way to get used to that Texas heat again. Course the plan is that when we get home the weather will cool down there too. We certainly have enjoyed our cool summer in Washington.

We're having a cold snap right now in Texas City, TX. Temperature between 90-97 depending if it is midnight or mid-noon.
