We arrived back in Texas yesterday and man, does it ever feel good to be back!

We're headed to Rayford to stay for awhile, and were wondering if anyone is planning to come to the Chili Cookoff? We're going to be there and would love to see you.

Welcome back home you gypsies...

I don't have any plans to be up there. May try to run up for a day visit when Don is there.

Ken

Don, I'll try to remember you when you show up on Friday. Ken I hope you can make it too, it will be a lot of fun, either cooking chili or judging it. We've always had a ball.

Just wondering Jay, what kind of surcharge is Rayford imposing for the cookoff. It seems to me each time they have any kind of "event", its an opportunity to jack up the price...even though you choose not to participate. I'm at the point I want to avoid Rayford because of what I see as price gouging for "special" events.

I'm going to try and get there early enough on Friday to visit with Marc (MRBV10) if he is up to having visitors. (I'll need to call Marsha and see) He is going thru HECK with his ongoing battle.

Well Ken you know the crazy crew of folks that will be gathered around my rig. (The diesel owners group ) Paul and Jen are coming down from WY again this year too.

I'm looking forward to the possibility of seeing both of yall there.

I might possibly stop by to say "Hi" to everyone but I won't be camping. I came down to Aransas Pass for an FMCA rally and ended up in North Bay hospital. I have a bad infection and right now I am just trying to get well enough to drive home.
