any thoughts on Flagstaff pups?

We are looking into buying a pup (we used to have a small Jayco). One of the pups we are looking into is a 2011 Flagstaff 228. In doing some research, I read that the Flagstaff's don't have any cross bracing supports under their floors, which makes their floors "spongey". I looked at a 2005 Rockwood (also made by Forest River) and saw that it does have metal angle iron braces under the floor cross braced about every 3 feet. Any thoughts on the Flagstaff as far as how they are made and how they hold up? Any recommendations or comparisons to the Flagstaff and the Rockwood, or Jayco, Viking, Starcraft?

We have a 2010 Flagstaff 625D and while I have not thoroughly inspected the underside to count the supports we have not experienced the floor felling spongy. So far ours has been a good camper whether it is 105 in Texas or 30 in the smoky mountains. Where did you read that.?

Good luck with your search

Can't remember where I read it - another camper forum. We bought the Flagstaff (after I looked underneath it to make sure it had cross bracing). We've had it out to the lake already and are very happy with it.
