Maybe I am missing something- but if you install an inverter to run ac appliances off you 12v battery- douwldnt your battery be dead in a matter of hours? We get 3 days off our battery- using it minimally for lights only. Are people setting up great rows of batteries to do this?
Thanks!
Linda

Not great rows, but the Dutch Star I have on order has 4 batteries for the inverter.

Even with 4 batteries you would still have to use the inverter wisely. It is not like being hooked up to shore power.

The real way to go if you want to run a TV,Micro, coffee pot. would be solar panels on the roof.
