Hi All,

Quick problem with my Viking (hopefully). I just picked it up from storage and noticed that all lights (turn signals, car lights) are working except for the brake light. Would anyone have an idea why this is happening? I made sure the wiring was secure (Car to wiring harness and wiring harness to Pop-up) so thats ruled out. Could it be the actual wiring harness itself? It's being pulled by a 2001 Mazda MPV is that matters.

Thanks for any response.

I R KAMP R, Welcome to irv2
Check your GND wire to frame of your pop-up it could be loose or dirty connection. Use a star washer to prevent the connection from looseing up in future. Check your plug connections for brake light an clean prongs on plug or defective mounting for lamp, clean bulb an metal mounting for bulb. ---"007"

If none of what "007" said works, then it may be your harness. We had the "booster" plug (the thing that has a battery wire and all the light connections connected in one spot) go bad and none of the lights worked on the pop-up. Replaced the big rectangular part of the wiring harness and everything worked just fine. I opened the thing up and found a fried connection (I TOLD David I had a good ground!!!).

Do not forget to check your bulbs too.
