Discount off MSRP

I've been looking at Jayco pop-ups on the web, and I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how much of a discount I can expect, or ask for. I was looking, for instance, at a Jayco Jay Series for about MSRP 15K. Thanks in advance.

PS - Are these pop-ups especially vulnerable to water leakage during a heavy rainfall?

Depends on cash buy or financing. Cash will net you between 3 and 5 thousand off the MSRP. Financing always drives the price up as if you get money off the price they will get it back on percentage at finance desk.

Any trailer can leak, depending on how it's been treated. Jayco's are considered among the better-made trailers, but the older Coleman/Fleetwoods are still the best, with Jayco/Fleetwood taking second.
In a week or two the season ends and dealers will be much more flexible with pricing. Be willing to travel, and remember that most options can be added at a later date, so don't box yourself in just because a great deal on a trailer is missing X,Y, or Z. That being said, a helpful local dealer is worth FAR MORE than a few bucks discount. Some dealers WILL NOT service trailers that weren't purchased from them, or they will put the trailer at the back of the line.
Showers (internal or external), water heaters and gray/black water tanks are a few things that really can't be added. Brakes are very easy and cheap to add. A/C can be added at the dealership, too.
Porta-Potti toilets can be used in lieu of Cassette toilets or plumbed-in toilets, and are much easier IMO.
What model are you looking at, and how many persons and what ages?
Also, what are you towing with? That may limit your choices as much or more than budget constraints!
So many questions!

$$$ Talks. My 99' Coleman pup I called a dealer 90 minutes away from my local Coleman dealer and was quoted $1800 cheaper..My local dealer said "here is the price, You'll be back" NOT !!!!

Our present hybrid (2013) it 's MSRP was 26k Long story short, my local dealers offer was 19.5k plus my 05' ($6500) as trade. Ended up traveling 2-1/2 hours away for $9800 plus my 05'. Ended up selling my 05' for $8500 so my final "out the door" price was $16,400. So MSRP was $26k bought for $16.4k (including all taxes) This was all cash....

Thanks for the responses, guys. I guess the answer is to just get out there and contact as many dealers as I can, and go from there.

Yes, use the web to find who carries what your looking for. It's helpful that you know what your looking for as far as brand, model and options. So when you call for a quote...they know the hard part of deciding what you want is done, now getting to a comfortable price point is all that is left.

Email is a great thing. Tons of prices from all over quickly. You can also CC all the dealers in your Emails to show them you are looking for the best price.
