Hello all, I was driving the other day , I saw this DUAL WHEEL pop up. it was a camplite 2406 this was a huge unit! I have never seen a dualie before has anyone one of these? i dont know the year but i think it was maybe no less and 5-6 years old i'm guessing .I think it was for sale, but i'm unsure that my 4 runner could pull it SAFELY..
thanks.

Was it a true dually with two wheels side by side or a tandem axle?

Our first RV was a 1978 Jayco Cardinal pop-up - with tandem axles.

Hello all,
Thanks for the replies... well the unit i saw was a camplite 2406 (damon)It indeed had 2 wheels right behind each other(just like in the photo) It look to be a Giantic pop up! i think it also had a slide out too! i'll bet it is as heavy as some LITE TRAVEL TRAILERS..
I have never seen one before i should have snapped a pic of it..

P.S. i did not know the difference between a "dualie" or "tandem axles" to me if it has more than 2 wheels it's a dualie. thanks for clearing this up for me.
As i said before i had no idea POP UP's had anything OTHER than 2 wheels. This was truly a eye opener I'm sure that now that those type of units have gone by way of the Film Camera except for a few fine examples that are still being dragged around the country!

Actually, you can go down to you local dealer and buy a brand new Fleetwood Avalon today. It is a 16' box and has tandem axles.
