I think we may have found the hybrid that we want, only thing is selling our popup. Our popup is a 2005 (1 yo now) and a Fleetwood Colonial (Sante Fe floor plan). It has only been used a few times and is in new condition. It also has A/C and canopy. I was thinking about asking $6K for this. Is that fair? Also, do you think dealers would give a fair enough trade in amt for us to trade it in?

Back in early 05' we also had a Coleman Cheyenne pop-up to sell after we bought a 05' hydrid. Since we did Ebay I tried it on there. Our 99' pop-up was 6 seasons old and used about 225 nights. It was in very good condition. If you take care of the Coleman pop-ups they hold up very well. I put a reserve of $4700 on ebay, but it only got up to about $3300. But after the auction was over a guy that missed the auction wanted to look at it and we settled on a price of $4250. I was very happy. We only paid $6400 out the door new back in May of 99'. You could also try Craigslist http://cleveland.craigslist.org/ which is a free listing service. This way you can see if there is any interest now. If you trade it in the dealers are not going to give you very much. They would love to have a 1 year old pop-up to sell on their lot come spring.

This has been asked before, but a good place to start is in this posting.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">use www.nadaguides.com and click on the RV link. As for "Blue Book" I don't beleive the Kelly Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com/blue.html) has listings for RV's.... </div></BLOCKQUOTE> this will help get the base price you want. There is a free classified here at iRV2, to get you started. Be aware anytime you post a ad on the internet, someone always wants to try and con you so be careful and don't ship your pop up anywhere unless your sure.
