Just put my 2007 sunvalley up and found a wet mattress. There is a crack in the roof around the a/c. How can I fix this?

Being a 07' is it still under a Fleetwood warranty. I thought Fleetwood sold the folding trailer division last year. I wonder if that kills any warranty work. When we had our 99' Coleman it had a lifetime roof warranty. I have a 06' brochure that says the 06's had a 5 year "roof assembly" warranty. Did you buy it new? Otherwise how wide is the crack?

First, welcome to iRV2.com. We hope you continue to visit with us and share your experiences.

Your issue could very well be a large job to repair. I would check out the warranty like Superslif mentioned.

From your description, sounds like you would have to remove the A/C before making any repairs.

I am assuming that you are the original owner and your dealer installed the AC. If that is true, then you need to take the PUP back to the dealer for them to fix it. Alternatively, you can take photographs and send then to the dealer.

Hope this helps.

Did you get your cracked roof resolved dr2th? I opened my 2008 Bayside last week to find the same problem; two cracks starting from the front corners of the A/C. Please let us know if you got it fixed or warranty. Thanks,

Ralph

This may, or may not be the case, but what I've heard is that when the roof was cut for the A/C to be installed, they cut it square.....it should be rounded on the corners to avoid cracking
