Help - 2005 fleetwood niagara electric

Rv dealer in town can't figure out problem.

Gas detector goes to low voltage and when it does the fridge won't work on electric. Lights go on and off. Beds are in so that is not problem. Thought the converter was problem but when new converter is in and lights are turned on the converter is popped out. Connections on side of camper for lights are good.

Help. Converter may be issue with gas detector - haven't put that back in yet, but lights are major issue. You turn them off and they won't go back on. Converter pops out when lights are turned on. Power coming into the camper checks out fine.

Your fridge on 110v electric only supply's the electric elements to cool fridge. You have a 5 amp fuse on control board. The control board uses 12v from battery or your converter. If you have any wiring reversals + or - to converter will trip circuit breaker or fuse on converter.
Converter may have a ground wire to frame of pop-up and wires feeding off of it for negative side of lights controls etc,etc.
Not sure what you have for wiring diagrams but Google and see if you can find them.
I would wire each wire to converter until one of them pops the fuse or circuit breaker and than chase that wire to see why it popped.
A light probe would be helpful chasing the problem.
Your running lights on outside of pop-up are working off the plug to your car or truck it seperate from internal wiring of pop-up.
