I'm scared!

I have a question for you guys. I am new to camping and my 1997 coleman sea pine had only one bar supporting each bed. It looks like that's all it was made to come with buy my wife is scared it isn't enough support, especially for the king sized bed. The beds seem stable enough but she is still a little scared. I've tried to read up on it online and it seems that other pop ups have more than one bar holding the beds? Are we being paranoid? Thanks for any help you guys can provide

I am not sure what model you have but I had two Coleman pop ups (One small and one large) and they both had two support rails per bed. If you look underneath the bed and you see the remains of a bracket hinge and then look on the opposite side of where the one support rod attaches to the lower poll support you should see where the missing support rod should insert. These are simple parts and should be available on line from either Coleman, Fleetwood or some other of the RV parts online stores. Your kids might be safe on the small bed but the weight of you and your wife might be a problem for the King sized bed.

+1 to D in Davie. You should have two supports for each slideout. The supports are located on each side of the slideout, each going in a straight line from the end corner of the slideout to the lower part of the camper box (body) near where the end and side meet. I'm assuming the single bar you mention is on the side, so one bar is missing.

Best Wishes--Carl
