Jayco bed canvas sagging

Just bought a used Jayco 1206, the shephards poles on each side are tight and solid, however the canvas seems to sag on either side of the ridge and catch water. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips to tighten this up a bit to avoid water damage....thanks ahead of time for any assistance

We had a 05' Aerolite hybrid where after about 2-3 years I had the same issue. On the Aerolite's the cable that supports each bunk has a bracket that has 3 holes that support the cable. I moved the cable up one hole and that tightened up the tenting material. Now you don't want the tenting material too tight because it will pull too much at the seam near the roof line.

Us hybrid or pop-up RVers call the pole that holds up the bunk bed canvas is referred to as the shepherds pole. That was on my old Aerolite (2005) hybrid, my newer 2013 Aerolite hybrid also has the same 3 hole bracket that allows you to abjust the height of the bunk bed thus keeping the canvas taut. So if you move the cable one hole down on the bracket, that will lower the bunk bed about 3/4" which will tighten up the material. You just don't want the material too tight because it will start to "pull" the material near the roof line like in this picture
