New Vent in 2006 Fleetwood Colonial Folding Camper

Hello:

We have a 2006 Fleetwood Colonial Folding Camper with a factory installed Air Conditioner. We would like to install a new Vent/Fan (Fantastic) to use when the AC is not needed.

I want to install the new vent on right front roof just above the portable toilet, near the ceiling light to pickup the 12V supply.

Question - are there any roof structual components or cables running through the roof that I should be aware of? It seems like the roof is wide open on the right front side.

Before I cut into the roof, I'd appreciate your advice.

Thanks
Mike Perrotto

Howdy and welcome to iRV2.com

To answer your question would really take someone in the know one way would be to look at the lift arms at both ends if you have lites at both ends and try and see if they are powered from both ends. Also another aid is a toner if you hooked t to the wires with the batteries unhooked you could trace any power line in the rig. If you have a local dealer you could ask the service guy and see what they say or even a camping world they also carry books on pop ups.

Good luck.
