has anyone installed a "jack antenna" on a pop up roof ? i have a rockwod freedom, i've read a lot of post about installing an antenna, but haven't seen anyone that has installed one, just wondering if this has been done.

rather than do all the work of a roof mounted antenna- I used a flat wave Winegard antenna- available at home depot about twenty dollars- it can pull in 10 to 20 stations.

When I had PUP'S I used a set of amplified rabbit ears from Wal Mart and I could pick up most, if not all local stations in the area we were camping.
I never really wanted to put one on top of the PUP and have not seen many with one mounted on the roof.
