Pop up without a/c

Does anyone know about how much it would cost to install a a/c unit in a pop up? I see units online, but have no idea how to install or costs associated.

Roughly 1,000 dollars give or take a bit.

HOWEVER.. how I did it...
Sears, Window unit, Cut an opening just above the tongue, Mounted it and trimed it in, Worked great.

NOTE on a PUP you wont' get a lot of cool. but you will distill out a lot of moisture from the air and that.. Is a good thing too.

I met a family that used their popup year round in Oklahoma and Texas. They had a roof top mounted air conditioner, and then they used bungee cords to secure the lightweight "space blankets" to the tops of the slide outs on the popup. He says the "space blankets" made all the difference in the world in cooling down the popup.

If the roof of your popup does not have the support for the AC, you will have to add that as well.

Good luck on your quest.

If you've already got a hatch in the roof (or are able to add one) you might consider something like this, with a standard window AC.
Air conditioning when you want it, a basic vent when you don't.

Or one of these which would also need a hatch.

Also known as "Pop up Gizmo's"... They really help with the sun in the summer.

Ac

We used our westlake almost year round in north florida by covering the bed end roofs with reflective blankets. Ac in the end wall is the way to go on a buildin.
