11/02/2012 Wall Treatment and first coat of finish on the Maple

I applied the first coat of finish on the Maple and the wood really started to show it's true color.

DW started the wall treatment, this will really brighten the space and make it look bigger.

Here are some pix.

11/05/2012 Last Coat of Finish and some electrical stuff installed.

Sunday I only did a coat of finish. Today the holes for AC boxes and meters and switches were cut and the last coat of finish applied. Next they go into the PUP and the new floor gets installed.

that looks like a big job but I sure it will well worth it when you get it done. As a fellow Palomino owner I know there is always something to do.

11/07/2012 Well I thought it was Plumbing Day

I really thought I'd start the plumbing today but soon realized I didn't know where the sink was located. So today I assembled the stow down kitchen unit. While I had the tools set up for cutting pressed wood I went ahead and cut the rest of the counter top pieces.

11/09/2012 Plumbing

Well yesterday wasn't my best day. I made several mistakes which led to more problems and the solutions just didn't pop into my head like I'm accustomed to, but I struggled through and had much better luck today. Most of the plumbing is done. I still have to install the check valve and drain valve on the fresh tank, they both arrived today on the UPS truck so I'll get to them tomorrow. The gray tank is in pretty good shape after todayís work, I think I'll add one more elbow in the 3" line to direct the sewer hookup to aft, and give better clearance if I need to change a tire. Also the line from the sink to the tank needs to be installed which will be pretty easy since itís all done from above.
It rained today and that made the under the PUP work a little messy.

11/11/2012 Idle Time Add-Ons

I've lost two days to the weather. It's been cold and windy so I closed up the PUP to wait it out.
The problem with that is too much time to spend on the Internet. I found this great Spare Tire Cover on Amazon so it has been become an unexpected ding to the budget but I couldn't resist it.

11/12/2012 Curtain Rail, Plumbing, Electrics

The day warmed up this afternoon so I was able to do some more work. When I raised the PUP I noticed the canvas was sagging on one corner. I discovered the curtain rail is starting to break due to age, it's just brittle. At thirty five years old it's understandable and also very hard to find. While I continued on the plumbing we think DW has located some at AnyRVparts.com I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile I got most of the plumbing done and a lot of the drivers side electrics installed.

11/13/2012 Fixed Tank Drain, More Wiring, Installed two more Lights.

With the cold weather I'm only getting about a half days work in, but it's moving along pretty well.
Today I added the elbow to the sewer hookup, and it looks more like it should now. I added two more ceiling lights and wired the starboard side a bit. Also got the Radio/DVD Player installed. That's one critical hole to cut.
