Renovation of 1977 Palomino Yearling Started
Well we started the Reno on our new (OLD) PUP today. DW started the cushions while I started the tear down of the interior.
You can follow the work in pictures here...

We have a lot planned and will update this thread as we move forward.

Water Damage Repaired
Fixed up the water damage today. I really would hate to do this without my MultiTool, it sure made things a lot simpler.
Here are some pictures.

A step up to the rear bed.
Didn't get a lot done today, we had to go shopping for Wallpaper Size, FRP Molding, and some hookup wire for the AC input.
DW wanted a step up to the rear bed and the rear wall needed to be filled in where I cut out the wood to repair the floor.
Here are some Pix.

10-27-2012 Updateed progress
We got some more stuff done! But Sunday may be a day off. These 67 year old bones are starting to feel the effects of 7 years in the Navy and a generally ill spent youth.
Here are the pix.

10/30/2012 Fit Check Day!
We did take Sunday off but got stuff done Monday and Today. DW finished the cushions and I completed the rework of the kitchen module.
Today we installed everything in the PUP for a fit check and other than a modification or two to get clearance for the refrigerator all went well.
Now we can move on to the wall covering and the finishing of the new maple plywood.
Here are some pix. http://sdrv.ms/W41aeH
Thanks For Looking

Just a SMALL amount removed from the corner of the table top would greatly improve access, with only minimal loss of table-top space...
Really looks great - I like your choice of fabric color and pattern!

I'm making new counter/table tops to change the Formica. I bet I could lose about two inches from that side of the table and still have plenty of horizontal surface.
PS DW picked and made the cushion covers. I really like it as well especially for a Fishin Rig.
Thanks for the input.

I think the fact that I survived almost twenty winters in SW Ohio helps with the energy levels. You gotta have some STONES to go through that many Ohio winters.

10/31/2012 Decals and Formica arrived today.
Spent most of the day cleaning up getting ready for the finishing. DW sanded the walls and coated them with sizing getting ready for wall covering.
We did receive the Decals and Formica today and here are some PIX.

11/01/2012 Inverter Test
We have had some distractions so the remodel is going slowly. DW was in a car accident and our Ford was rear ended, so we have had to deal with the insurance company and two repair shops. Then this morning one of our renters called and said she had no hot water. We went up and determined it was irreparable so shopping took almost all day. The costs are all over the place from $600 to $1500 installed.
But the Inverter arrived today and I set up a test with the fridge. It working fine and I'll be able to run the Fridge at least while driving to keep the Beer Cold!
