Hi I'm new on here and I'm after some advice.

I've been offered a Starcraft Starmaster XL 1906 at silly money. It needs some work but I also need some info as well.

I need some approx details of:

1. total weight of the camper
2. hitch or tongue weight

3. any brake details - if they were installed as standard and what were they. This one has brakes fitted but need an overhaul but I don't know if they were part of a conversion etc.

Being in the UK the camper in question has been converted to UK towing spec. - I think; hence the questions. Over here surge or over run brakes are needed on any trailer over 1650lbs. Trailer weights are also restricted depending on the tow vehicle.

Many thanks

My son just got a 1995 Starcraft Meteor. We have received some helpful email replies from them. You may need to get a vin # off the plate attached to the frame, or from vehicle registration/title paperwork. Try contacting Starcraft at:

dcregier@starcraftrv.com ... that email goes to:
Dan Cregier
Service Technical Supervisor
Starcraft Warranty Dept.
800-945-4787 ext. 215

Good Luck!!
