Is it a pop-up or does it fall into another catagory (TT)?

Since it is an "easy" setup - lift top, put up sides and lock; it does "pop" but it is also a laminate on top and sides. Low weight for our Escape (falls within tow limits) & just the basic to avoid the motel fees (we added a port-a-potty - and you know why ): reefer, 3 burner stove, heater, fresh water tank. We are using 2 batts and 1 20# tank with a 30# carry-a-long, when necessary.

It is a Chalet LTW (about 13'Lx7'W) w/water & propane opts. Does what we need for short/cheap trips. http://www.chaletrv.com/ltw_photos.htm

Are we (A frame owners) in such a minor number here or?

I've been a member of a number of pup forums and had, for quite a while, an Aliner. Nobody ever chastized me for it so I guess it's OK. I never noticed anywhere where it said CANVAS pop ups only. If they did I guess it would rule out not only Aliner/Chalets but also the old hard-sided Apaches and the newer Fleetwood Tacomas.
