Travel to California

We are wanting to go to N. California to visit my sister. Does anyone know if a RV park near Pleasant Hill?

I live in Pleasant Hill and am not aware of any RV parks in Pleasant Hill or the surrounding area. The fair grounds in Antioch maybe but personally I wouldn't stay out in that area and it's not that close.
Only places I've stayed locally were Alameda Fair Grounds in Plesanton and Napa Fair Grounds but again they are not very close to Pleasant Hill.

The entire Bay Area is very light for places to stay...but there is the Contra Costa County fairgrounds (mentioned above)...Better than nothing and traffic is terrible if you are staying too far away for daily visits.

The Alameda County Fairgrounds has a nice little RV park. Nothing special, but about 20 minutes to Pleasant Hill. The fair starts this week and runs through July 4th, so you won't be able to get in for the next three weeks, but there is usually room throught the summer.

Do what I do - Good Sam. Under Trip Planner, in the drop-down box, click on Find a Campground. Type in State and City and Search. A list of campgrounds appears. I click on Map View to see the physical location of the various rv parks. Lots of info is provided plus links to the park websites.
