Hi All -

It's been a while since I posted. We've taken that last seveal months to move out of state and that's a lot of chaos with a household that includes kids & pets!

Finally settled and thrilled as the house we bought had a perfect sideyard area "just begging" to be leveled and gravelled for an RV parking area!

The crew starting on Tuesday and it looks as though we will have our RV pad ready for use by this coming Monday.

My husband is thrilled as am I (I may actually get to park on the driveway again

). We didn't realize how large the area was until two scrawny trees and an old garden fence was taken out. The area measures 10.5 wide (at the narrowest) and 43 feet long. Its a good thing since my husband brought home a new toy last month, a small boat ("Hey, it followed me home!").

After years of paying for storage and going thru the hassle of having to "watch" how long the RV was parked out front (love those convenants), we can finally really start enjoying RV ownership!

Well, it's official! We now have a "real" RV parking area at our house.....YEAH!

My husband says the only problem now is that the area is so much larger than we originally thought, that we keep making comments like, "Gee, we could get a really big 5'ver in here". Oh geez....not ready for that!

I've considered adding a concrete slab to park my hybrid in the backyard. But remote parking is pretty cheap here in my area, so I go with that instead.
