I'll add a shortcut to your inquiry in the Workhorse chassis section - maybe somebody will have some idea what your problem may be.

I find it interesting that Stan has an '03 with the newer J-72 autopark. My chassis is an '04 and I have the older J-71.
Does that sound right? I guess maybe they saved the J-71's for the remainder of the 'to be' P-32 chassis

Max: just because a member types info into a topic title does not make it so. I can't say what AAPB he has because he has not specified which chassis he has.

I don't think the info available to us warrants the conclusion you have apparently reached. ED

If the vehicle is equipped with a J72 brake it should show J72 on the SPID sheet which is stuck somewhere on the body.

If one goes to "My Motorhome" on workhorse.com and regsiters their unit, you can see all the SPIDs that apply to your particular chassis.

Good luck with the modification! If anybody can do it - you're the man!
