12 Volt Stereos?

What kind of music systems do y'all have in your motor homes/travel trailers?

I've got a nice in-dash CD/MP3/Ipod player in the dash, and we used my iHome in the bedroom on our recent 2500-mile trip to the Texas Gulf Coast, but I'd like to put another 12 volt stereo in the bedroom that can be used in-motion. I've seen some under-cabinet ones that would work, as well as some in-the-wall ones.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

What is your budget? Here River Park, Inc. National Distributor of Mobile Audio Products is a supplier of the most commonly used electronics in our industry. There is a lot to choose from; take your time, look around, as there are some folks that upgrade from the start and you could find a real bargain.

You basically have two options for the bedroom Sound System

One is to get another automotive unit, Places like Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Stereo, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV can give you some ideas there, They have about the best selection to be had

Or you can go with something like a BOOM BOX.. I have a uint, sold under many names mine is Memorex.. It happens it runs on 12vac provided by a standard "Brick" type power cord

Just unplug the cord, get the proper 12 volt accessory cord at Radio Shack and plug in to any handy 12volt outlet

I added 3 of those in the bedroom.

Runs on batteries too as I recall.
