1976 Superior 2600 Motorhome

Hi everyone! I am hoping I am doing this right lol. We just purchased a 76 Superior 2600 and are looking for any kind of manuals or any information we can find. It is in pretty good shape. But there are several things that need trouble shooting and replacing. I am trying to find out what chassis it has under it and so forth. We know we need to replace air bags and shocks. Help! Any info that anyone may have would be greatly appreciated!

Christina......I don't think you're going find any manuals 36 years later. Most of the systems are pretty straight forward. If you're having a particular issue or even several of them, post them here and you'll find that many will be able to help.

If your Superior is a Class A, it may have had an Oshkosh chassis in those days.

Don is correct about the manuals. I would think the chassis is probably on a Dodge chassis; possibly the M500 with the 440 industrial engine. If so, some parts like rotors and drums are going to be hard to come by. Good luck and keep us posted.

RV Wizard....I forgot all about the Dodge chassis. I even rebuilt/tuned a couple of Thermal Quads on the 440.....a killer engine.
