1982 Tiffin Allegro

I caught this bug to restore an older motorhome, I started with the 454 engine and made it new, then the differential, brakes, wiring, water sys, propane system, new radiator anyway you get the idea, I'm now into the pretty part, refer doesn't work on electric, my son in law and I have repaired the roof and replaced or sanded and painted roof vents, replaced all the exterior running lights, tail and headlamps,What we need are sources for instamatic roof air shrouds, or a brand that will work to replace these two shrouds. I would like to replace the fuel transfer valve (leaking) with an original single wire contact six port valve, the other alternative is to do a lot of rewiring ... OR two three port valve (comments please). I have already contacted Tiffin and they don't have my parts (obsolete), workhorse asked for my Vin and somehow has it crossed with a 2005 ??? no help there, so I am appealing to the masses.

Since you have a 454, it is Chevy chassis and is probably a P-30. You might check with the local Chevy dealer to see if he can help. A lot of the chassis parts should be available on line or at local parts houses.

If the roof vents are standard 14" x 14", all you need to do is to match the hinge style. There are a couple of large RV junk/surplus yards that can help with the parts as well. One is in Missouri.
