I have just purchased a ITASCA WINNEBAGO 1991 # 70F601249005 with a GMC Forward Control Truck (K3500?) 7.4lt V8 (vin 1GBKP37N8L3317314) and I have found that the low beam and the cruise control does not work. I am not sure who made the unit, but I have been told that the unit is a gm part 25031710. GMC says the part 25031710 is discontinued. I have called around and can not find one. I have also found on the web Installations & operating instructions for a DANA's Electronic Speed Control for a 1991 GMC diesel for a Winnebago and it has a Control Switch and Lever Assy unit that looks like the one my unit has. It's part number is 58D-08X63-F. Dana has been sold and the new company does not have any of these parts. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement part, what it would be called and if it a GMC or DANA part?

I would also like to find an electrical diagram for the GMC truck. If I can not find a new unit I may be forced to purchase a unit and modify it to fit.

Helms.com is the place for any automotive manual. The wiring diagrams will be in the service manual

There is a lot of good info on the Winnebago site. I have posted a link to the electrical area.

Wiring Diagrams

Good luck with your search.

Do you know if the Dana smart stick is the same as the GM part 25031710 (ie the unit GMC says is in their trucks)?

We would very likely have this in stock. We have a large supply of NOS Dana cruise parts on hand. You can call us at 1-800-933-7742. Thanks, Terry
