1994 ford 460
Hi We bought a used rv 32foot rexhall with a ford 460 efi the day we bought it the fuel pump went out so we called ford and bought a new pump and filter from them ,we dropped the tank and installed the new one ,,Now it won't idle and its loading up at low rpms ,but when you get it going down the road it runs fine ,,,what could be wrong now ,,,,please help us oh and its a 1994

Not sure about your EFI, but in 97 Ford used and idle air control valve that would gunk up and cause idle issues. You can take it off and clean it up.

To all you do-it-your self ers ,,Well I went out and bought a fuel pressure tester and what do you know ,the pressure was 70 lbs at the rail ,so I disconnected the fuel return line and blew air in it to see if it was plugged ,It wasn't so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator now it running fine no more loading up and it idles fine ,,,BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN,,,,,

Glad to hear you are running again with no problems. Is your Rexhall a class "A" or a class "C"? The reason I ask is we recently bought a 31foot 1993 Rexhall class "C" with the Ford 460. We love it. Have never seen another one like it.

Bob our 1994 rexhall is a class A we love it ,,I don't ever recall seeing a class C on the road Hope you are enjoying it as much as we are enjoying ours,,stay intouch R V buddy,,,,,,
