1994 HR with E40D tranny - where to buy Mercon?

MERCON ATF ? I was going to change the tranny fluide today but can not find the Mercon ATF that it calls for anywhere, I did see Valvoline High Mileage ATF Maxlife says Dexron III/ Mercon is that ok?

As long as it says "Mercon compatible" is it OK

I found some valvoline at Walmart Dex/Mercon said good for the ford

Thanks all,
getting the rig ready for our new move ...Austin,TX. was going to move to Corpus but the humidity kills me.. gotta go inland but a 2 hour drive to the coast doesn't bother me.

Check out amsoil universal synthetic atf. it will cool your tranny better and last longer.
