1RPC50RV 90degree plug

Does anyone have one of these? If so I noticed the ground lug is on the side but based on the the fatigue bend on my existing straight cord and without looking at the RV itself mine appears to be positioned on top? Also I have a center locating pin on my plug and a hole to receive it on the coach. I can probably remove the center pin on my cord to fit up into the other end of the adapter when connecting. Anyone?

We have a 2014 Palazzo 36.1 and use this cord for every hook up. It seems to place less stress on the outlet and with it angled downwards, there is less chance for it to catch on something or someone. 👍😀

Also, for our rig it can only be attached with the "tail" pointing towards the ground. It really appears to reduce the stress load on the socket itself.

But does anyone have one when installed it's off to the side?

it's possible to look behind your cover and see if you can reorient your coach side connection - if it's like ours, it's just a female connector mounted within the cover. A few screws out and you may be able to turn it.
Rather than use one of these, I chose to actually remove our outside connection and reroute it through the DEF bay, where my 50a cable is now permanently connected to the coach - now I only have to connect my 50a cable to the electrical pedestal when I arrive at the park.

No can do. Actually even if I could the whole plug with the hinged cap would have to turn with it. It's all molded together. I would have to look for a new receptacle. I'm still working on it.
