2002 Alfa SeeYa Hydrauic Jack Issues

I recently bought my 2002 Alfa SeeYa 40 foot motor home. On my way home from Texas to Colorado I stopped for the night. When I attempted to level my home using the hydraulic jacks the left (driver) side fully extended while the right side did not. I was unable to retract the jacks using my jack control panel. Finally I had to slowing bleed the pressure off the left jacks thus lower the motor home. I have tighten the hydraulic lines and replaced the lost hydraulic fluid in my reservoir. I have not been able to activate the my hydraulic motor using the jack control panel. Has anyone experienced a like issue with their jacks and can suggest a possible solution for my jacks not working.

If you know the manufacturer of the levelers I am sure that will help others to help you.

Here's a link to a very active forum of Alfa motorhome owners.

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/alfaseeya/info

Try your question there and I'll be you get some answers.

Before posting, you should look for your coach number so you can add it to your message. (It has nothing to do with the chassis VIN.) Look for it on the Equipment Data Sheet on the inside of your pantry door--it's called Alfa VIN.

It's a 5-digit number that starts with a 7. In your case, with a 2002, it will be 70xxx. Posting your coach number, or at the very least the model year, will help a lot in getting good information. Alfa made running changes so not even every 2002 is alike.

I'll also note that there was a recall on your jacks many years ago because the jack pads would fall off. I think it just involved some new hardware and loctite. But if you're messing with the already, you should check yours to make sure they're tight.
