flinter, welcome to our website and forums. We are glad you have decided to join us. You should everything checked over. It is called a PDI (pre delivery inspection) There are many safety issues and then many more general issues you want to be sure are working, the roof is not needing maintenance and so forth. Are you buying from a dealer or individual? If individual you may want to find a mobile RV service that is recommended by other RVer in the area to do this service for you. The dealership should do this before you take delivery but I would recommend you request that it be don and that all systems are operating properly and all maintenance is up to date. Then make sure they give you what is called a "Walk Through"; this will orientate you as to "how to" and where everything is.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for your info, I buying from a dealer (smaller dealer)and everything I have been told is working, and what I've seen.
He was going to take this unit to Florida himself for 3 months so he had everything checked and ready to go for himself.

I own a 2002 SunVoyager. The only thing that comes to mind is if it is on a Workhorse Chassis, make sure the brake recall has been done. If you look in the Workhorse chassis section on this forum, you will see scores of pages related to this. Happy trails in your new coach!
