2010 ESSEX Squeaky floor in bedroom

Any of you RV GENIEUS’S (and I mean that as a complement, I learn so so much from this forum) have any suggestions on stopping a squeaking floor. It’s in our bedroom, just inside the door and between the bed and wall. All my tanks are under that part of the coach and I do not see a way to shore up the floor because the tanks are in the way.

The sound is probably caused by the floor sheeting moving where it contacts the floor joists. If the floor is carpeted, and you can figure out where the supports are, you may be able to cut small slits in it and drive a screw or two through the floor into the joist, which should quiet it down. The trick would be finding the right spot(s).

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I can't think of anything other than what Steve suggested. Just noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
