We are new to RVing and have just purchased a 2012 Coachmen Mirada. We have a little one and would like to put in motion satelite in but the problem is the TV in the living area is covered up with the slide when it is in. The salesman said that we could purchase a bracket to bring it out during travel but I cannot locate one that would work? Anyone else solve this problem (besides adding another TV)? Thoughts?

It is illegal to have a TV operating in view of the driver. That said, if you are wanting to have it viewable by the nagivator, you should consider a small screen TV in the passenger area.

Well there are a few things you need to consider,, First, Seat belts, Though in many states they are the written law,,, I'm more concerned with the laws of physics when it comes to seat belts.. these laws say your odds of surviving a crash are EIGHT TIMES BETTER with a seat belt.... Usually these work best on forward facing seats.

Second is a law of the land... No TV for the driver, if the driver CAN see it, even if he's not looking... bad fine.

My recommendation.. Small portable TV where the driver can't see it.. you can use the same TV outside on the picnic table, or with proper extension cables for those times when you have to set up a ground dish along with the antenna pointing software in your receiver (Way better than those inline meters they sell)

I have a in motion sat. receiver and have the tv on for passengers and don't think anything about it. As far as a bracket I don't know your design it may have to be custom made. You probably find those who have one say it's ok and those who don't say no.
