BOTH are great coaches, made by good people. Since they are apparently on the same chassis, I'd opt to save the 1/4 million dollars for fuel.

I would go for the King Aire, hands down. I realize it is much more expensive, but if you are looking at a coach in this range then money should not be the determinant. The King Aire is much more coach.

Hi Endo,
I'm surprised you are comparing these two coaches. To understand the difference, you'll need to spend some time with a person who can explain each coach in quite a bit of detail. The King Aire does have Comfort Drive. That is at least $20K (computerized steering, you will love it). Like the Newmar slogan says "When You Know The Difference".

Is Comfort Drive worth $250K?

Welcome to irv2.

Here is the KA Brochure & Owners Guide.

Here is how they are built, and here is what you can do on a factory visit while its being built, this was a DSDP.

Here is the Cornerstone.===No Owners Guide to offer on site.

Good luck in what ever you decide can't go wrong with either one.

And yes if you do go with a Newmar check out the three links below in my signature with more info related to a Newmar.

Both great coaches. Almost bought a Cornerstone because of how they were priced compared to the King Aire, etc. In my opinion the quality inside the King Aire is better and I hear the Comfort Drive is awesome. If money is no object...
King Aire

NOPE! I dont think there is a lot of difference in the coaches. Obviously the chassis is the same, the kingaire has more glitz. All depends on what you are looking for in a coach. In my world just because you spend more does not mean you get more. Heck I pull a 21k stacker with an isl 400.

I would say the Cornerstone is comparable to the Essex rather than the King Aire.

I have had both...the Cornerstone was a 2011 K2 w/500......there is NO comparison between the two. For us the Newmar is well above the Entegra....but so is the price. If $ is the deciding factor the Cornerstone is a good buy.

Saw both during the build in the factory....hard to see the extra $250K+...but I'd love to have either.

Kinda funny tho...the King Aire I saw at the factory had a big red QC sticker on the side...they put an Essex name on the side of it by the door
