As part of the pre-flight checkoff, I wash the tires and apply 303. Keeps 'em nice looking for the entire trip

303 protectant

i use 303 on the entire motorhome minus the windows.....on aluminum, paint, gel coat, stripes, tires, etc.........i've done this 2-3 times a year for 5 years and have not experienced any problems. yes, it leaves a slight film, but the next time u wash it, the film is gone, but not the protection !

www.autopia.com is having a 30% off sale on 303 products. Use coupon code 303AUTOPIA30 in the checkout process. With shipping, a gallon was under $60.

Thanks everyone- very informative. I wish it lasted longer, I'm pretty lazy. Two or three times a year treating the whole mh sounds like a load...

From 303 by the gallon is the cheapest way to get it. I use it all over the 5er.

That website is invalid. I did find an autopia.org, but that appears to be an auto detailing forum. I did a site search for 303, but found nothing.

Huh? I did not know the 303 had to be 'replaced'. I just clean the outer sidewalls and re-coat them before every trip. AND !!....I buy it at NAPA (directly across the street from both O Reilley & Auto zone, would you believe?)

Thanks Paul. That coupon was worth $17.85 , It sure helped with the $15 for tax and shipping and total was $56.56 ( under $60 as you said ). I have paid $15 a pint at Napa.

Hi ALL:

Gotta question. Do you think that regularly using 303 on MH tires would eliminate (or significantly reduce) the need to buy, haul along and use tire covers on your rig when parked for extended periods ? We're full timers and find ourselves frequently parked in an area for 2 to 3 mos. before moving on.

Thanks.

In your case I would recomend the tire covers. My reasoning would be that 303 is rated at SPF 40, covers would be more like SPF 100.
