As we were very happy with our motorhome with exception of queen bed. We had a mattress made that was 70 inch wide and had the right corner cut on angle. We then reduced the width of the front night stand to match the other and supported the base to accomadite the larger mattress. Wow what a difference. We had the matress made at local shop. I didnt take any pictures but could if anyone needs more info.

Welcome to irv2!! That sounds like a nice modification. As my signature indicates, I too have a 35U. Will have to keep that in mind for future mods.
