As we were very happy with our motorhome with exception of queen bed. We had a mattress made that was 70 inch wide and had the right corner cut on angle. We then reduced the width of the front night stand to match the other and supported the base to accomadite the larger mattress. Wow what a difference. We had the matress made at local shop. I didnt take any pictures but could if anyone needs more info.

Welcome to irv2!! That sounds like a nice modification. As my signature indicates, I too have a 35U. Will have to keep that in mind for future mods.

Welcome to iRV2! and thank you for your recount of your bed modification.

Pictures are always appreciated by fellow RVers who might be considering the modification that you did. So please post your pictures in the photo gallery and then provide links back to them.

Again, welcome to iRV2!
