I have a bad motor in the bathroom vent fan of a 88 Fleetwood Limited. There isn't any identifying info on the fan but I have heard it refrred to by others that it might be a fantastic fan. It isn't the typical square vent but rectangular in shape with radius corners. It can also be cranked up at either end or both and it has a two speed switch at the fan. Anybody know for sure what fan was used in this model MH? Thx in advance for your help.

John

John any RV Dealer or RV Parts repair should have a 12v motor for replacement. Remove motor and check it out there maybe a sticker on back side of coil or a stamping on coil. If you have that size fan about 6" its one that is place in most bathrooms on TT's or MH's.

John,

Don't recognize the make -- But I don't beleive it is a Fantastic Vent fan. They are square and crank up on one side only.

Green lights and soft breezes,

That's an unusual shape and not like anything I've seen in recent RVs. Certainly not a Fantastic Vent product. But the fan motor may be a common one or be replaceable with a fan from another make. Or take the motor to a electrical motor shop for a rebuild.

I e-mailed Fleetwood on the chance that they might be able to help and they did respond. Seems the vent fan was originally manufactured by Vent Line who was acquired by Fantastic Fan who I am to contact about fan parts for my model.

Thx

John

John,

Thank you for the follow-up information. Learn something every day. Over the years, I have found the Fantastic Fan people to be outstanding to work with. I am sure they will work with you and solve your problem. Please let us know how things turn out.

Green lights and soft breezes,
