Has anyone had this problem and if so has anyone repaired it? My A & E oasis elite door awning will start out but after extending for one foot the right side stops. I can push on the right arm and it will pop into the extended position but will not do it on its own. If anyone has figured out what the problem is and repaired it, please answer.

I had an issue where the right side would stick and not release. The left side went out about 6-8" and then it stuck. I took apart the red plastic latches and cleaned and lubed them and everything worked great.

In your case I'd suspect that there is something binding in the right side linkage or track. I'd check for any gunk in the track and lubricate the linkage joints.

I had the same thing happen to mine. the tech sprayed on some silicon and it started extending all the way. He said that he didn't like the sound of the motor so he ordered me a new one under warranty.

A little Tri Flow will take care of the problem. Tri Flow is the stuff Bicycle Chains are lubed with. It does not attract dust.

Ours would hang up on closing, tech at Tiffin trimmed a little plastic flange & lubed. Told me to spray lube "hinge points" 2X a year.
