We purchased our 2000 Bounder this past Spring. It has dual A/C units on the roof with an "intelligent" system on the wall with two seperate controls, one for each unit. When using the A/C (one or both) I cannot get the temperature regulated in the coach. It seems that no matter where I adjust the temperature, the A/C's are either on high or low with no adjusting the temperature. While at the beach this year, we would put one of the A/C units on low at night with the temperature set at 80 degrees, and by morning it would be like a meat cooler in there. Any ideas as to why the temperature doesn't seem to be working with either unit?

It happened to us as well with our basement unit but we've found the sweet spot on the T-Stat but it took time to get it fine tuned.

You may have a control like this that has temperature probes mounted on the wall.
The probe vents maybe dirty and have to be cleaned. The sensor inside should be held in probe so it will not fall back in wall.
In these probes are sensors mounted through a hole which will allow the probe to fall back into the wall cavity when this will happen the AC will continuously run trying to cool for the sensor so it will shut down.
You may have two, bedroom and living space. If it did fall in wall use a #14 wire with small hook and carefully try to pull back out of wall cavity. Sealant the wire in hole to prevent the recurrence.

It may be a matter of simply making sure the air from whichever unit is running can eventually make its way to the thermostat... so the T-stat can react.
Leaving the door open from your bedroom and having a small fan circulating the air will do that.
Think of it this way. If you have a thermostat controlling an A/C in a room that is some distance away... and no air is circulating ...the T-stat does not know what is going on. It will only react to the temperature at its location.

That is the exact unit that is in my motorhome. I do not have the manual for it, so thanks for posting it. I did see the probe on the bedroom wall, but never knew what it was. I will try to locate the other probe and then check them as you said. Hopefully, the probes will just need some cleaning. Thanks to everyone for the help. I will let you know how it turns out.
