My question is has anyone ever added a heat strip to a ducted dometic penguin? and if so what is involved with doing this? I would probably have to change my thermostat the one I have now works my a/c or the furnace I can add an additional thermostat to the furnance if I need to but would like to switch over to a digital unit if possible that would work everything on the front unit.

If I remember correctly, this is not something that can be added after market. Due to the design, the heat strip is between the blower wheel and the evaporator coil (non accessible) to the consumer.
