Adding bright LED Amber turn signals
Looking at the rear of our Greyhawk I'm not impressed with the small turn signal taillight. Have any of you ever added an additional turn signal off the existing wiring?
I'm thing about the is sayid adding a turn signal above the existing combo unit to add some visability.
Any suggestions?

Consider just replacing the stock light assemblies with the same size LED versions. I did this on our Trek, and the results are significantly brighter.

I am thinking about something along these lines. I would mount it above the rear window so its high enough to be seen above the toad.

I have replaced all my lights to LEDS and added additional taillights. The amount of currant draw for the LEDs is almost nothing so you can add as many as you like. But yes connect to currant wiring and you will have no issues.

I have installed one on all the trucks that I have had. These are nicer, mine only had the red LEDS.
I checked out your site and saw some that I want to add light bars to my rear Mudd Flaps. Thinking on hooking them to the Break, Turn signal too. I'd also like to add Clearance lights under the lip down the sides. I am sure you have seen them on a semi trailer maybe every foot or 2. I found some really nice LED marker lights and plan on replacing all of mine with the darker amber and reds, I found some that have 10 leds per lamp.
