Advanced Auto Parts Doesnt Carry TranSynd?

So I'm preparing for my first big trip and I 'm looking for stuff to bring with me. Antifreeze, a couple of quarts of Oil etc. I thought I'd bring a quart or two of trans fluid. Allison recommends TES 295 or TES 468 fluids. Stop in at my local Advanced Auto Parts store and the guy says they don't carry TranSynd or any equivalent. Haven't gotten to Autozone yet so I don't know if they carry it either. Other than truckstops, any suggestions? Wal-Mart maybe?

I haven't found TES 295 fluid at any auto parts store. My local RV repair shop got some of the Mobil Delvac product for me at $48/gal.

Here is a link to ALL of the Allison-approved TES-295 fluids "out there". On-Highway Fluids Surely you can find one of them at "most" parts retailers. Likely only in gallon containers, but these are the ONLY fluids you should add to your 2014 Allison.

Call a Napa store, or go to a Freightliner shop

Great link ! first off your probably not going to use Transmission Fluid! If you do the you'll end up in an Allison Shop because of a leak.
Second if your Tranny has TranSyndô stay with it.

Only available in one gallon containers and can be found at any Allison Transmission approved shops.

Personally you should only need to add fluid to your transmission if you have a leak or change the filters.

I carry coolant and oil for my Cummins but no Transynd for the Allison.

$35-40/gal is the realistic price for TES295 fluid.

Agreed. If I start seeing puddles of tranny fluid I'll worry about it. The only time I ever needed transmission fluid for any car was when I was towing my pop up with my Mazda MPV over a bridge and it overheated and blew a wonderful red rain on my camper. Wouldn't shift very well till I refilled it.

I'll keep the coolant with me I already bought

The parts department at International Truck Dealerships carry a TES-295 transmission oil too.

Nope, I got it in a 5 gallon bucket from the local Allison shop and they can get it all the way up to something like a 650 gallon tank.
