I use it all the time at the campground for air mattresses, tires for golf carts, lawn tractors, car tires, RV tires, etc- and of course, for my rigs tires.

Good luck on your choice,
Got mine from Amazon today. Obviously not new but seems to run OK so far....:-) For the price differential between new and used... it looks just fine....:-)

Thanks for the lead,
Norm

A6intruderBN,

As far as resetting the compressor, I have no idea. I had it done at the Sparton Factory. I think it is only a minor adjustment, not a big deal. There was no charge so it must have been simple.
Check with the chassis manfacturer.

Air up while the compressor is running, do not wait for it to stop or you may not get the pressure you want.

I had my Astoria (Freightliner chassis) into an authorized shop last week for another issue and asked them to up the governor from 120 to 130psi. They said no, its the brake system, DOT does not allow the setting over 120 but they would be happy to air up the tires for me. I am going to give up and put in the Amazon order.

let me get my two cents worth in. what I do is take the weight off the tires with the leveling jacks that way you are not lifting the motor home all I can say it works for me. Good Luck. wcombs34
